Yoga
Yoga is not one-size-fits-all so Gin teaches many styles, always based in alignment and is passionate about teaching privately–to individuals and groups–to make sure your specific goals and needs are the focus.
Meditation
Meditation isn't "woo," it is scientifically backed to reduce stress and Gin feels is it key to truly getting to know yourself and finding out what this life is all about.
Lomilomi
On the surface, lomilomi is Hawaiian bodywork, similar to a massage but different. On a deeper level, lomilomi is a way of life and a way of empowering people to heal.
End of Life Doula
Gin believes that as we all must eventually move on from this physical body, that passing should be as good and beautiful as possible.
Equine Instruction
The power of horses was known to Gin from the day she was born. She teaches therapeutic horseback riding lessons as well as offering equestriyoga experiences.
Coaching
Drawing on science, yoga philosophy, and the varied experiences of her life, Gin loves helping people work through transitions and cultivate more joy in their lives.
Veterinary Student
Gin's new passion is combining her love of helping people and animals. She is currently in veterinary school and looking forward to combining her love of both science and spirituality in her practice.
Speaking
Gin speaks on a variety of topics from embracing transitions to cultivating joy to the importance and value of science to honoring animals and the planet.
Human Justice
Gin believes we are all humans and we are all in this reality together. She works, with her partner, to humanize people currently and formerly behind bars.
Numbers Speak
Gin is an E-RYT 500 who trained with Jennifer Lynn of Wisdom Flow Yoga on Maui for both her 200 and 500 hour certifications. She also studied with her beloved meditation teacher, Sally Kempton for over a decade.
Gin began coaching before she was 10 years old. From horse back riding to gymnastics, yoga to transitions and joy. She loves the intimate two-way interaction of helping people work on their goals–whatever they may be.
While all the avenues of connection that Gin practices may seem separate from each other, the overall desire to help the world feel better is infused within them all.
Why Feel Better?
Simply put–when we feel better, we make better choices, for ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
We are all connected. In these modern times that is easy to lose track of, but it is true. What each of us does affects the other. Whatever we can do to make the best choices possible–for us all–we should. And that includes feeling good so that it is easier to make those better choices.
Self-care isn’t selfish. In fact, taking care of ourselves is one of the most important things we can do. As the saying goes, “you can’t help others put on their oxygen mask if you pass out without yours on.” Or something like that. If we don’t take care of ourselves eventually we will burn out and not be able to take care of anyone else either.
There are many ways to take care of ourselves, our businesses, and each other. Gin is happy to help empower you to feel better in any way she can.
